compliance testing information, and technical service bulletins at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website. This site has a Recalls Search Engine that will allow you to search by the year, make, and model for the vehicle you are researching.

You will be shown any components of the car that have been recalled. The Consumer Reports website also has a list of product recalls for all products, including cars and other vehicles. Again, this site allows you to search for the exact product you wish to find information on regarding safety recalls. The latest recalls are always listed on the Recalls.gov website. If you find that you have a car that has a recall, contact the car’s manufacturer to see what you should do about that information.
