Where can I find Vehicle Safety Ratings?

Answer:
You can find vehicle safety ratings online and
also in print for new cars as well as older models. Your best bet online is the Safercar.gov ., where the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) accident test ratings are listed for U.S. models starting from 1990, and also on the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety website.

You can find reliable safety ratings for new U.S. vehicles on the Road and Travel website and magazine. For international ratings, check out Japan's National Agency for Automotive Safety & Victims' Aid website, or the websites on Australasian and the European New Car Assessment Programs.
