Which SUV's have the Lowest Resale Value for 2006?

Answer:
When shopping for SUV's, it is important to think
about how the vehicle will hold its value, in the event you may plan to replace it within a few years as many consumers do.

Some SUV's (like other vehicle styles) just do not hold their value for very long, whether because of poor quality, poor styling, or other negative factors.  Consequently, they may become "white-elephants" in the manufacturers' lineup, and may even impact future model years.

According to Edmunds.com , the Top Five SUV's with the worst resale value for the 2006 model year are as outlined below.

Topping the list is the Isuzu Ascender.  This "retrimmed" GMC Envoy received an average overall rating from ConsumerGuideAuto, and they list steering/handling and fuel economy as  a couple of the Ascender's blatant negatives.

Next is the Buick Rendezvous.  ConsumerGuideAuto lists acceleration, fuel economy and steering/handling as three of the Rendezvous' negatives, gives the Rendezvous an overall rating of low average.

Third on the list is the Suzuki XL-7, which ConsumerGuideAuto gives a low average overall rating, and lists acceleration, steering/handling, and noise as three of the XL-7's negative traits.

After that comes the Suzuki Grand Vitara, which ConsumerGuideAuto rates average, listing rear visibility and acceleration as two of the Vitara's negatives.

Finally, the fifth lowest resale value SUV for 2006 is the Mitsubishi EndeavorConsumerGuideAuto gives the Endeavor a high average overall rating, and they list visibility as the only negative.
