The Mississippi Department of Public Safety maintains Mississippi driving records and manages other driver and motor vehicle issues.

It is not clear just how long accidents, DUI or other traffic violations remain on a Mississippi driving record, but most states keep serious convictions like DUI on the driving record for ten years or more.  Other, less serious convictions, are typically kept on the driving record for three years or more.
