What are the Arizona Lemon Laws?

Answer:
The Arizona Lemon Laws protect consumers against
new (and used, in some cases in Arizona) motor vehicle non-conformity to manufacturers’ (or sellers') express warranties. Arizona Lemon Laws provide a means of recourse against motor vehicle manufacturers (or sellers) if a motor vehicle has been proven to be out of compliance with the manufacturer’s (or sellers') express warranties, and if the motor vehicle also meets certain other eligibility requirements.

Arizona Lemon Laws are spelled out in the Arizona Code as follows:
Arizona Revised Statutes §§ 44-1261 to 1267
Arizona Lemon Law

Reasonable attempts must be made to bring into conformity  any vehicle claimed to be not in conformity by the owner.  Owners must file an official complaint with the vehicle manufacturer through registered U.S. Mail; owners must have allowed up to 3 attempts to be made to correct alleged non-conformities. Manufacturers may be allowed a final attempt before any refund must be made.

In the case of used vehicles, Arizona Lemon Laws spell out specific time and other constraints for eligibility and protection.
