What are the Colorado Lemon Laws?

Answer:
Moving to beautiful Colorado?  Here's some
information about the  Colorado Lemon Laws, which protect consumers against new motor vehicle non-conformity to manufacturers’ express warranties.

Colorado Lemon Laws are spelled out in the Colorado Code as follows:
CO Statutes 42-10-101 - 42-10-107
Colorado Lemon Law

Colorado Lemon Laws provide a means of recourse against motor vehicle manufacturers if a motor vehicle has been proven to be out of compliance with the manufacturer’s express warranties, and it must also meet certain other eligibility requirements.

As with most State Lemon Laws, reasonable attempts must be made to make necessary repairs or adjustments in order to bring into conformity any vehicle claimed to be not in conformity by the owner.

Owners must file an official complaint with the vehicle manufacturer through registered U.S. Mail; owners must have already allowed reasonable attempts to be made to correct alleged non-conformities, and manufacturers may be allowed a final attempt before any refund must be made.

Colorado Lemon Laws do not specify any coverage for used vehicle purchases.
