What are the Delaware Lemon Laws?

Answer:
Delaware, "The First State", is a
small state, but it fits right in with the biggest states as far as Lemon Laws go.  Consumers are protected against new vehicles not conforming to manufacturers' express warranties, and the Lemon Laws provide a process by which consumers may be made whole, providing the details in the Laws are met.

Of course, the consumer must first allow reasonable attempts to be made to bring the vehicle into conformity before manufacturers must refund money or replace vehicles, and the consumer must file an official complaint to the manufacturer within the express warranty limitations or 1 year, as spelled out in the Lemon Laws. Failure to follow the details in the Lemon Laws could jeopardize protection under them.

Delaware Lemon Laws are described in the Delaware Code as follows:

Title 6, Subtitle II, Chapter 50, Sections 5001 - 5009
Delaware (DE) Lemon Law

Delaware Lemon Laws do not specify any coverage for used vehicles.
