If a vehicle cannot be made compliant with express warranties, the manufacturer must replace the vehicle with another of equal value, or allow the consumer to return the non-compliant vehicle and provide a refund of the full purchase price less reasonable usage charges. Kentucky Lemon Laws clearly state that complaints of non-compliance must not be the result of negligence, abuse or modifications by the consumer. Kentucky Lemon Laws do not cover used vehicles.
