If you are planning to move to Maine, the Pine Tree Described as: Maine Lemon Law Chapter 203-A, Title 10, § 1161 - 1169 Maine, like most states, has Lemon Laws which protect consumers from damages resulting from new motor vehicles not complying with manufacturer's express warranties. Purchasers of new motor vehicles have three years or 18,000 miles, whichever occurs first, to register a formal complaint to the manufacturer or authorized dealer that a vehicle is not in compliance with express warranties. In addition, reasonable attempts for repairing the alleged non-compliance must be allowed before the manufacturer is required to replace the vehicle or refund monies.
