What are the Missouri Lemon Laws?

Answer:
Missouri, the "show me" state,
has Lemon Laws that protect consumers against damages resulting from new motor vehicle non-compliance to manufacturer's express warranties.

Described as:
Missouri (MO) Lemon Law; Section 407.560 - 407.579
Missouri Revised Statutes; Chapter 407
Merchandising Practices; Section 407.560

Missouri Lemon Laws require consumers to file official complaint of new motor vehicle non-compliance within the manufacturer's express warranty period or one year, whichever comes first.

Consumers must also allow a reasonable number of attempts at repairing the non-conformity to be made before manufacturers must replace the vehicle or refund purchase monies.

Under the Missouri Lemon Laws, consumers must first follow any manufacturer procedures established for resolving such non-conformity claims in order to be protected by the laws.

Missouri Lemon Laws do not cover used motor vehicles, though other statutes may, as most states have consumer protection laws governing general safety and condition of property being sold or transferred, including motor vehicles.
