What are the Nevada Lemon Laws?

Answer:
Nevada, home to Las Vegas, Reno, and "fun in the
sun".  If you're moving to Nevada, you may need to know a few things about the Nevada Lemon Laws, which protect consumers against damages resulting from new motor vehicle non-compliance to manufacturer's express warranties.

Described as:
Nevada (NV) Lemon Law
Nevada Revised Statutes 597.600 to 597.680

The Nevada Lemon Laws require consumers to file official complaint of vehicle non-conformity within the manufacturer's express warranty period or one year, whichever is earlier.

Consumers must also follow any procedures established by manufacturers for resolution to claims of non-conformity to comply with the Nevada Lemon Laws.

It is expected that a reasonable number of attempts to repair vehicle non-conformities will be made before manufacturers must replace the vehicle or refund purchase monies.

Under Nevada Lemon Laws, if a new motor vehicle is out of service for repair work for a period of 30 days within the express warranty period or one year, consumers may elect to receive vehicle replacement or refund of purchase price less usage charge.
