Answer:
Oklahoma’s Mandatory Point System allows · Not following a traffic light – 2 points · Reckless driving – 4 points · Careless driving – 2 points · Speeding – 2 points If you accumulate 10 points within five years, you will lose your license. You can also reduce the points on your record for each 12 months that you drive without a traffic violation. Oklahoma requires all front seat passengers and drivers to wear a seatbelt if the car is equipped with one. Children under the age of six must be in a child safety seat. Also, children between the age of 6 and 13 must wear a seatbelt, even if they are in the rear of the vehicle. Violations of this law bring a $20 fine. Also, children under the age of 18 must wear a helmet if they are on a motorcycle. Emergency vehicles, like police cars, fire engines, or ambulances, always have the right of way. If they have their lights or sirens on, you must pull over to the right hand side of the road and clear all intersections to allow them to pass. If the vehicle is stopped on the side of a four-lane road, you must pull into the left hand lane and pass with caution. Always follow the posted speed limit. On four-lane highways in Oklahoma you must go 70 mph. Turnpikes have a speed limit of 75 mph. On two-lane highways you can go 65 mph. County roads have a limit of 55 mph. Roads in state parks have a limit between 35 and 45 mph. Failing to follow this law will result in a fine and points added to your record. There is no law against cell phone use in Oklahoma.
