Oregon Lemon Laws provide consumer protection against damages resulting from new motor vehicle non-conformity to manufacturer's express warranties.

Under Oregon Lemon Laws, consumers must file official complaints of vehicle non-compliance within one year or 12,000 miles from time of delivery of the vehicle, whichever comes first.

As is common under many state Lemon Laws, Oregon Lemon Laws require consumers to allow a reasonable number of attempts to be made to repair vehicle non-conformities before the manufacturer must replace the vehicle or refund any purchase monies.

In addition, if the same non-conformity repair has been attempted four or more times, or if the vehicle has been out of service for 30 days or more during specified warranty or one year periods, the intent of the "reasonable number of attempts" will be deemed to be met.
