What are the Pennsylvania Lemon Laws?

Answer:
Pennsylvania Lemon Laws are similar to most
state Lemon Laws, and offer protection to consumers against new motor vehicle non-conformity to manufacturer's express warranties.

Described as:
Pennsylvania (PA) Lemon Law Statutes
Title 73 Chapter 28, Sections 1951-1963

Under the Pennsylvania Lemon Laws, consumers must be given a written statement containing the Pennsylvania Attorney General's "Pennsylvania Bulletin" statement outlining consumer Lemon Law protections at the time of purchase of a new motor vehicle.

The Pennsylvania Lemon Laws require consumers to report any alleged vehicle non-conformity within one year or 12,000 miles, whichever comes earliest, in order to be adequately protected under the laws.

Consumers are expected to allow a reasonable number of attempts to repair non-conformities before manufacturers must replace the vehicle or refund purchase money.

This "reasonable number of attempts" intent may be deemed to be met if the non-conformity causes either of the following during the legally specified periods:
o Vehicle is out of service for 30 or more days due to repair attempts for non-conformity
o Same non-conformity repair attempts have been made three or more times.
