Virginia Lemon Laws protect consumers against Described as: Virginia Lemon Law Title 59.1, Chapter 17.3, §59.1-207.9 - §59.1-207.16 Under the Virginia Lemon Laws, ALL warranties (express or implied) are included as being covered, as long as consumers file official non-conformity complaints within the warranty periods. Consumers are expected to allow a reasonable number of attempts to repair to be made before manufacturers must replace the vehicle or refund purchase funds. Additionally, Virginia Lemon Laws allow for the intent of "reasonable number of attempts to repair" to be met if a non-conforming new vehicle has been repaired (or attempted) three or more times for the same non-conforming condition, or if the vehicle is out of service for a cumulative total of 30 days or more; during the warranty periods.
