How can I renew my Florida Drivers License?

Answer:
Your Florida driver’s license will be good for

four years, and will expire on your birthday. The renewal costs $15.

You can renew online, by mail, by telephone, or in person at your local DMV office.

Anyone who is not a United States citizen will have to apply in person. These individuals will need to show proof of legal presence in the country.

· Renewing online: Visit https://express.hsmv.state.fl.us/Express_Lane/ and fill in the online form. You must pay the renewal fee by credit card.

· Renewing by phone: Call (866) 467-3639 to renew by phone. There is a $2.90 service charge when you pay by phone. You pay the renewal fee via credit card.

· Renewing by mail: Those who are eligible to renew through the mail will be sent a packet six weeks before their license’s expire. This packet will contain all information on how to send in the completed forms and payments for the new license.

Once you have completed the renewal process, you will be issued a sticker to place on the back of your license indicating its new expiration date.
