How can I renew my Idaho Drivers License?

Answer:
When your Idaho driver’s license is about
to expire, you have two options to use when renewing it.

You can renew in person at the DMV, and if you are between the ages of 21 and 69 you can choose to renew for four or eight years.

If you choose the four-year renewal, you will be allowed to renew by mail the next time you renew. Those who are eligible for a renewal by mail will be notified by the DMV. The DMV will send the renewal application and instructions 60 days before the license expires.

You must renew in person every eight years, so this option can only be used for every other four-year renewal. You will also have to renew in person if you need to change any information on your license. You will pay $24.50 for a four-year license and $45.00 for an eight-year license.
