How can I renew my Illinois Drivers License? |
|
Answer:
When your license is about to expire in the state of Illinois, You must not lose this letter because it is required for you to renew your license. You can renew online or in person. To renew in person, visit the Secretary of State’s Driver Services Office in your area with the renewal letter. You will need to pay $10 to renew. Illinois has implemented a Safe Driver program that allows drivers with no accidents or other concerns on their records to renew online. To renew online, you will need to do the following: · Visit https://www.ilsos.gov/SafeDriverWeb/ · Type in the renewal authorization number from your renewal letter. · Verify your information. · Pay the $11.75 renewal fee via credit card. · Print the confirmation page. When you are done renewing online, the DMV will send you a renewal sticker that you attach to the back of your driver’s license. You can only use the online renewal system every other time you renew. If you are qualified to renew online, you will receive a letter stating so within 60 days of your license expiration date. Trackback(0)
