How can I renew my Kansas Drivers License?

Answer:
When your license expires in Kansas, you will
be issued a renewal notice at least 30 days before your expiration date.

You can renew any time in the two years before the license expires. In order to renew you will have to pass a written and vision test. However, if you have proof from your eye doctor of your vision, you will not have to take the vision test.

In order to use this option you must have had your appointment with the eye doctor no more than three months before you applied for renewal.

You can renew at the driver’s license exam station in your area. The renewal fee is $12.00 for a four-year license or $18.00 for a six-year license.
