four years, and they expire on the driver’s birthday. You can renew in person, online, or by mail.

You must renew in person every other time you renew.

You can renew early if you need to without any penalty. If you are eligible to renew by mail or online, you will be sent the application when you are sent your renewal notice. If not, you will receive a notice requesting you to renew in person.

To renew online, visit https://dmvapp.state.nv.us/dl_renewal/dl_ren_input.aspx and enter the code on your renewal notice. You will also need to enter your license number.

To renew by mail, follow the instructions on your renewal application. You can also bring your application to the self-serve kiosk in your city. These are available in the following towns:
