How can I renew my Nevada Drivers License?

Answer:
A driver’s license in Nevada is good for
four years, and they expire on the driver’s birthday. You can renew in person, online, or by mail.

You must renew in person every other time you renew.

You can renew early if you need to without any penalty. If you are eligible to renew by mail or online, you will be sent the application when you are sent your renewal notice. If not, you will receive a notice requesting you to renew in person.

To renew online, visit https://dmvapp.state.nv.us/dl_renewal/dl_ren_input.aspx and enter the code on your renewal notice. You will also need to enter your license number.

To renew by mail, follow the instructions on your renewal application. You can also bring your application to the self-serve kiosk in your city. These are available in the following towns:

· Las Vegas

· Henderson

· Elko

· Reno

· Carson City

· Fallon

· Minden

· Pahrump

You may not renew using these methods if your personal information has changed or you have more than two moving violations on your record.

When you renew online, through the mail, or at a kiosk you will pay $19 via credit card. If you are required to renew in person, head to the DMV office in your area. You may be required to take a test if you have moving violations on your record. When you renew in person you will pay $21.25.
