How can I renew my Oklahoma Drivers License?

Answer:
Your Oklahoma driver’s license will expire
every four years. The month your license expires will be the month after the month in which you received your driver’s license the first time.

Renewal must happen in person.

To renew, visit the Tag Agency near you. You will pay $21.50 to renew your license.

If you are living out of state but maintain an Oklahoma residency, you can renew by mail. This option is available up to six months before the expiration. You will need to mail the following to the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety:

· Name and Oklahoma address

Current address

· Birthday

· Current driver’s license number

· Copy of two forms of ID, such as license and Social Security card.

· Cashier’s check for $21.50 fee payable to Oklahoma Department of Public Safety

Mail all of these documents to:

Oklahoma Department of Public Safety
Driver License Services: Renewal by Mail
P.O. Box 11415
Oklahoma City, OK 73136

Be sure to allow enough time for your new license to arrive in the mail.
