How can I renew my Vermont Drivers License?

Answer:
The state of Vermont allows its drivers to renew
their driver’s licenses in the mail, rather than having to visit an office to renew. You will receive a renewal notice about one month before your license’s expiration date.

Simply fill in this notice and mail it with a check or money order for the fee to the following address:

Agency of Transportation
Department of Motor Vehicles
120 State St.
Montpelier, VT 05603

If you do not receive your renewal, you can download one at this link: http://www.aot.state.vt.us/dmv/documents/TA/VL/TAVL021.pdf . If you are renewing your license for two years, you will pay $23. The cost for a four-year renewal is $35.
