How can I renew my Wyoming Drivers License?

Answer:
Your Wyoming driver’s license will be
good for four years. You can renew through the mail or in person.

Your renewal notice, which will arrive 120 days before your license expires, will tell you if renewal by mail is an option. You can renew any time after receiving the renewal notice.

To renew by mail, you will need to complete a vision screening by an eye doctor. This needs to be recorded on a Driver Vision Evaluation, which can be found at http://www.dot.state.wy.us/Default.jsp?sCode=drvfm .

Fill in the form that came with your renewal notice and mail it, the Driver Vision Evaluation, and an $18 check or money order, to:

WYDOT Driver Services
5300 Bishop Blvd.
Cheyenne, WY 82009

You can only renew by mail if you have a clean driving record and renewed in person the last time your license expired.

If you need to renew in person, visit an exam office in your area. The fee to renew in person is also $18. You will be asked to take a vision screening when renewing in person.
