How do I Transfer a Car Title In-state and Out-of-state in Wyoming?

Answer:
Each Wyoming county has its own registration
and titling procedure and forms.

As a rule, a vehicle identification number inspection, the out-of-state title and registration, and proof of insurance are required for vehicle registration.

Title transfers are required within 30 days of vehicle purchase. Needed are an odometer disclosure; a notarized and properly endorsed title from seller; a signed and notarized bill of sale; a completed and notarized Application for Wyoming Title; and a damage disclosure statement.

Registration and titling transactions can be completed at a county treasurer’s office.
