There are three tests required for Alaskans · Written test · Driving test · Vision test The fee for license is $20, and there is also a $15 fee for the road test. Beyond the testing, Alaskans must present have certain documents in order to receive a license. Alaska law requires two forms of ID when applying for the license, one to prove your birthday, and one to prove your identity. At least one of these forms of ID must have a photo. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Those who are under 18 are required to have had a learner’s permit for a minimum of six months. Also, they must have 40 hours of driving experience without any traffic violations. Parental consent is also required. Those who are over 18 do not have these requirements.
