There are three tests required for Arizona drivers before they are given a driver’s license. · Written test · Road test · Vision test The fee for the testing and the license is $25. Drivers must be at least 16 years old. Anyone who is 15 ½ years old can apply for a learner’s permit . Applicants who are under 18 must have their learner’s permit before they can get a license. They are required to complete 25 hours of driving training before they can apply for a license. Applicants who are under 18 must have the approval of their parents before they can get a learner’s permit. Two forms of ID in addition to the learner’s permit are required when applying for the actual license. Those who are over 18 do not have to have the learner’s permit before applying for a license, nor do they need any approval from a parent or guardian.
