There are four tests that those wishing · Vision test · Road sign identification test · Written test · Driving ability test Anyone who is 18 or older can apply for an unrestricted driver’s license in Hawaii. Those who are between the ages of 15 and 18 have to go through the graduated driver’s licensing program. Teens who are 15 ½ can apply for the instructional permit. They must hold the permit for 180 days, during which time they must pass a state certified driver’s education course. After they have had the permit for 180 days and have turned 16 they will be granted a provisional license, which restricts them to certain times when they can drive. Drivers who are 17 and have had a provisional license for at least six months can apply for a regular license. All first-time applicants must have two forms of ID when applying. One form of ID must confirm the name and age of the person, and the other must confirm the Social Security number. Minors will need parental consent as well. Trackback(0)
