What are the Nevada Drivers License Requirements?

Answer:
Nevada has three tests that it gives to those
who are applying for a driver’s license. They are as follows:

· Vision test

· Written test

· Driving skills test

The fee for a driver’s license is $21.25.

All applicants must provide documents that prove their residency in the state, identity, and Social Security number. Minors will have to supply a Minor Affidavit to prove that they have parental consent to take the driving test.

All drivers who are under 18 must start with the instruction permit, which allows them to take driver’s education. The instruction permit is available when the driver is 15 ½ years old.

All teens must complete 50 hours of driving instruction, including 10 hours of nighttime driving, before applying for the license. Also, teens must complete driver’s education. However, those who live in rural areas where driver’s education is not offered do not have to take it if they complete 100 hours of supervised driving.

After having the instruction permit for six months, teens can apply for a regular license. Those over 18 do not have to take driver’s education or have 50 practice hours, but they must still apply for a permit before applying for the full license.
