If you need to title a vehicle in the state of Ohio,

The registration takes place at a deputy registrar’s office, and requires the following items:

Some counties require that you have your vehicle inspected for emissions. This is required before registration can occur. You will have to pay $34.50 to register a car, and you will also pay as much as $20 of local taxes.
