What are the Wyoming Drivers License Requirements?

Answer:
Wyoming requires its drivers to pass three tests
before getting a driver’s license. These are as follows:

· Vision screening

· Written exam

· Driving skill test

The fee for a driver’s license in Wyoming is $20.

Those who are 17 or older do not have to go through the graduated licensing process. They must bring identification and their Social Security card with them when applying.

Teens, however, must begin with a learner’s permit, which is available at age 15. While holding their permits, teens must complete 50 hours of driving instruction, with 10 hours at night, before applying for a license. They also must have a release form signed by their parents before they will be given a permit.

 At age16
, those who have held the instruction permit for at least 10 days can apply for an intermediate permit. This permit allows them to drive alone at certain times, provided they do not have more than one minor in the car. Full driving privileges are available to teens who have turned 16 ½, provided they have completed driver’s education training. However, once a driver is 17, the driver’s education requirement is waived.
