Where can I find Alabama Vehicle Inspection Centers?

Answer:
If you are planning to move to Alabama, you will need
to register your motor vehicles with the Alabama Department of Revenue's Motor Vehicle Division, and you will likely need to have the vehicles inspected in order to do so.

Alabama law does not require emissions testing, but it does require most vehicles driven in the state to be titled (there are some exceptions), and to obtain a title in Alabama, the vehicle must be inspected by what are called Designated Agents

Designated Agents include: County License Plate Issuing Officials (click for county-specific information), all Alabama licensed motor vehicle dealers, and some Alabama banks and credit unions.

Once each vehicle passes the initial inspection and an Alabama title is issued, no further inspections are required
