Where can I find Alabama Vehicle Inspection Centers? |
|
Answer:
If you are planning to move to Alabama, you will need Alabama law does not require emissions testing, but it does require most vehicles driven in the state to be titled (there are some exceptions), and to obtain a title in Alabama, the vehicle must be inspected by what are called Designated Agents. Designated Agents include: County License Plate Issuing Officials (click for county-specific information), all Alabama licensed motor vehicle dealers, and some Alabama banks and credit unions. Once each vehicle passes the initial inspection and an Alabama title is issued, no further inspections are required. For more information, visit the Alabama Department of Revenue and the Alabama Department of Public Safety websites. Trackback(0)
