Where can I find Maryland Vehicle Inspection Centers?

If you plan to move to Maryland, you might need to

know about motor vehicle inspection requirements and locations for those inspections.

In Maryland, all motor vehicles (with a few exceptions) must pass a Safety Inspection prior to sale or resale. The seller is responsible for getting the inspection certificate.

In addition, Maryland motor vehicles must undergo periodic emissions inspections/tests if registered in 14 of Maryland's 24 Counties.
