Where can I get a Colorado Driving Record?

Answer:
You can request an uncertified copy of your driving record
in person at a Driver License Office in your area that offers this service. You will pay $2.20 for the uncertified driving record. You will want to call the office before you visit to make sure they offer this service.

You can request a certified copy through the mail. Simply request the form in writing along with your full name, Driver’ License number, and date of birth. You must sign your request. Specify whether you would like a certified or uncertified copy. The fee for a certified copy is $2.70.

Mail the request to:

Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles Driving Records
1881 Pierce Street
Lakewood, CO 80214

You can only request the driving record of someone else if you meet certain criteria. These approved reasons are listed on the Requestor Release and Affidavit of Intended Use form, which is found here: http://www.revenue.state.co.us/MV_dir/formspdf/2489.pdf .
