Where can I get a Georgia Driving Record?

Answer:
In order to request a Georgia driving record
online, you will have to have a password that is issued by the Department of Driver Services. You will need to request this password at the following link: https://online.dds.ga.gov/ . It will be sent to you through the mail.

Once you receive the password, you can request the record online at this link: https://online.dds.ga.gov/ . This will be an uncertified copy.

To obtain a certified copy of your driving record, you will want to apply in person at the driver’s license in your area.

You can also request both certified and uncertified copies of your driving record through the mail. To do so, you will need to send a request with the following information:

· Full legal name

· Current address

· Driver’s license number

· Birthday

Sign your request and have it notarized. Send the information along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope and a money order or cashier’s check for the fees to:

Georgia Department of Driver Services MVR Unit
P.O. Box 80447
Conyers, GA 30013

The fee for the uncertified record is $5, and the certified version costs $7. If you need the record of someone else, you will need signed, notarized written consent from that individual.
