Where can I get a Kansas Driving Record?

Answer:
You can request a copy of your own Kansas driving record
in person or through the mail. If you need the record quickly, head to the driver’s license exam station in your area. You will need your driver’s license to request the copy. This service costs $6, and you will receive the copy immediately.

When making the request by mail, simply send a letter to the Driver Control Bureau containing the following information:

· Legal name

· Driver’s license number

· Birthday

· Address

The fee is also $6 when requesting by mail. Mail the request and check to:

Driver Control Bureau
P.O. Box 12021
Topeka, KS 66612

If you need someone else’s driving record, you will need to have either a signed letter stating you have permission to obtain the record or the Third Party Consent Form, signed by the individual.
