Where can I get a Maryland Driving Record?

Answer:
You can request a copy of your driving record
online, in person, or through the mail. To view the record online, you will first need to request a PIN number.

Simply visit https://secure.marylandmva.com/ and enter your driver’s license number and birthday and the PIN number will be sent to you via mail.

Once you receive it, visit https://secure.marylandmva.com/ and follow the instructions to receive your driving record. I

f you want the record mailed to you and do not wish to view it online, you do not have to request a PIN number. The cost for a certified record is $12. Non-certified records can be obtained for $9.

If you would prefer to make the request through the mail, you will need to download this form: http://www.marylandmva.com/ .

Fill it in and mail it with a check for the appropriate fee to:

Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration
6601 Ritchie Highway NE, Room 145
Glen Burnie, MD 21062

Make the check payable to the MVA. You can also request the document in person at any MVA office in Maryland. If you are an employer or insurance company that needs an individual’s driving record, use the same process to make the request.
