Where can I get a Nevada Driving Record?

Answer:
If you need a copy of your own Nevada driving record,
you can request it in person, through the mail, or online. To make the request in person, you need to visit the DMV office in your area and pay $7. This will not be a certified copy. Certified copies must be requested through the mail.

To make a request through the mail, write the request and include the following information:

· Legal name

· Address

· Phone number

· Social Security number

· Birthday

· Driver license number

· Reason you need the record

You will need to sign the letter. The fee for a non-certified copy is $7. If you need a certified copy, send a check or money order made out to DMV for $11.

Mail these items to:

DMV Records Section
555 Wright Way
Carson City, NV 89711

Finally, if you wish to make the request online, visit https://dmvapp.state.nv.us/OL_DH/Drvr_Usr_Info.aspx and follow the instructions.

You will need to pay $7 for the record, and you can only get non-certified copies in this manner.

If you are requesting someone else’s record, you will need to obtain a record request form from http://www.dmvnv.com/pdfforms/ir002.pdf and submit proof of your right to request the record.
