Where can I get an Alaska Driving Record?

Answer:
You can request a copy of your Alaska driving record
in person, via fax, or through the mail. To request the record in person, visit your local DMV office with your identification. You will pay $10 to receive the record.

You can also request the record through the mail. To do so, download a copy of the form from this link, http://www.dps.state.al.us/ .

Be sure to include the following with your request:

· Proper name

· Driver’s license number or birthday

· Phone number

· Address

· Signature

· Reason for request

The fee is also $10 when requesting through the mail. Mail the information to:

State of Alaska Division of Motor Vehicles
Attn: Driving Records
P.O. Box 110221
Juneau, AK 99811

To request the information by fax, download the same form and fax the request to the Juneau Licensing Office. To find the number, call 907-465-4385. The Juneau office will take your fee, which you must pay via credit card, and then tell you where to fax the information.

If you need to check on the status of your order, call 907-465-4363. If you need to find the driving record for
someone else, such as someone you are considering hiring, you can use the same processes. However, you will need a signed authorization from the individual stating it is fine for you to have a copy of their driving record.
