The V-ROD is what Harley-Davidson calls a performance cruiser,

a motorcycle that combines traditional cruiser virtues with blistering acceleration. The V-ROD is the first street-legal Harley powered by a liquid-cooled engine.

Equipped with sequential-port fuel injection, the engine is good for 123 horsepower and 84 ft/lbs of torque. Not surprisingly, the V-ROD completes the quarter mile in less than 12 seconds and is capable of 140 mph. The option list is short, consisting of antilock brakes and a vehicle security system, but buyers can dress up their V-RODs with a variety of color schemes. The series starts at $16,695 for a basic black model and tops out at $17,465 for the special 105th Anniversary copper-and-black paint treatment.
